A Brazilian sugar and ethanol group, built since 1931
Pedra Agroindustrial S/A has produced sugar and ethanol since 1931. Today it operates four units across São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul, milling around 11 million tonnes of cane a year.
Heritage, scale and a proven export route
From its base at Fazenda da Pedra in Serrana, São Paulo, Pedra has grown over more than nine decades into one of Brazil's established cane groups, with about 4,500 employees.
Our four units — Usina da Pedra, Usina Buriti, Usina Ipê and Usina Cedro — produce VHP and VHP Plus raw sugar for bulk export, crystal sugar, anhydrous and hydrated fuel ethanol, and bioelectricity from bagasse for the domestic grid.
Pedra is associated with Copersucar, one of the world's largest sugar and ethanol export networks, giving buyers a proven, verifiable route to market.
